This Blog is geared towards the Biology department at Elon. The goals of the blog are 1) to disseminate basic tips and thoughts about technology as it relates to teaching and productivity and 2) to increase discussion of the different ways people in the department are using technology.
Expect really basic stuff (eg. how to combine pdf's) all the way to more explorative things (eg. me trying to figure out how to incorporate specific software or technology into a course).
Ok, is a blog actually more useful than a posting notepage in a website? This is another question I'll need to address over the next weeks. For now I'm seeing if you can embed a newsfeed into a Google site
